Aerial 360 tour for land subdivisions, with the lots over the land

Cristhian Proaño · Updated on

A 360 tour for land subdivisions is a virtual tour made with aerial panoramic photos: the buyer turns the view and sees the real land with the lots, streets and nearby places marked on top. At Royaltor360 each lot in the tour shows its status and price from the same CRM inventory, so the tour never offers a sold lot.

How a lot changes inside the tour

Example with sample data: the status your team records in the CRM is the one the buyer sees.

What does the buyer see in the 360 tour?

The Royaltor360 360 tour works with layers drawn over the aerial image. The buyer can turn them on or off to see the land better.

Layer What it shows
Lots The outline of each lot with its code and status. When tapped, the area and the price if it is available
Streets The internal roads with their names, to locate each lot
Areas Green areas, common areas and other spaces of the project
Points of interest Nearby places that matter to the buyer: main roads, towns, rivers or services
Several shots More than one panorama to move through the project from one point to another
Times of day The same shot at different times of the day, when it is captured that way

How is a 360 tour of a land subdivision made?

  1. We prepare the land with you: visible lot corners and roads, clean land and a day with good light.
  2. We do the aerial panoramic capture. We evaluate drone capture case by case, depending on the location and size of the land.
  3. We stitch the photos into a 360-degree sphere that can be turned.
  4. We draw the lots, streets and areas over the image, using your plan as a reference.
  5. We connect each lot to the CRM inventory so it shows its status and price.
  6. We publish the tour on the project link, next to the interactive masterplan.

360 tour, drone video or photos: which is better?

They do not compete with each other. Each one serves a different stage of the sale.

Aerial photos Drone video 360 tour with lots
Who decides what to look at The photographer The video editor The buyer
Shows each lot No Only if edited on top Yes, with its code and status
Up-to-date availability No No Yes, it comes from the CRM
Works in social media ads Yes Yes, it is the strongest format Better as the ad destination
Contact from the same view No No Yes, with WhatsApp, form or assistant

What usually works: a short video to attract attention on social media and the 360 tour as the place where the interested buyer reviews the project calmly before writing.

Why connect the tour to the inventory?

A 360 tour that does not know which lots are sold becomes a problem within a few months: it shows as available lots that no longer are, and the buyer only finds out when they ask. By reading the CRM inventory, the tour shows the real status of each lot without anyone having to edit it.

Does it work on a phone and can it be shared?

Yes. The tour opens from a link in the browser of a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. You can send it through WhatsApp, use it as the destination of an ad or link to it from your website. Visits to the site and the tour appear in the CRM statistics.

Does it work for houses or individual properties?

Yes. In addition to the land subdivision tour, we build 360 tour galleries for real estate agencies: a page with several properties, each with its tour, its listing details (price, area, bedrooms, location) and its contact.

How much does a 360 tour cost?

It depends on the size of the land, how many shots it needs, the travel for the capture and whether it is connected to the CRM. In the demo we review your project and give you the exact price. Frequently asked questions

What is a 360 tour for land subdivisions?

It is a virtual tour made with aerial panoramic photos of the land, where the buyer turns the view and sees the lots, streets and nearby places drawn over the real image.

What is the difference between a 360 tour and a virtual tour?

They are often used as synonyms. For land subdivisions, the aerial 360 tour is the useful one, because the buyer needs to see the land from above to understand the location of each lot.

Does the buyer need to install an app?

No. The tour opens in the browser from a link, on a phone, tablet or computer.

What happens when construction on the project moves forward?

The shots can be replaced with new captures. The drawn lots and streets are adjusted to the new image.

Can it be used in Facebook, Instagram or TikTok ads?

Yes, as the ad destination. The ad attracts attention with a video or an image, and the link leads to the tour where the interested buyer reviews the lots and writes.

Is it always done with a drone?

The useful view for a land subdivision is aerial. We evaluate drone capture case by case, depending on the location and size of the land, and confirm how it would be done before the proposal.
